As clichéd as it sounds, our graduates really do go everywhere and do anything with their Michigan Tech degree, whether it’s starting a new business, winning the Nobel Prize, or climbing Mount Everest. It helps to be recognized as one of the nation’s top technological
universities. Each year more than 250 businesses, corporations, and organizations come to Michigan Tech from around the world to conduct thousands of interviews with our students representing every academic discipline.

- 96% of our students are employed within their field of study, enlist in the military or are enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation.
- Each student averages nine interviews.
- 344 Companies came to campus in 2008 to recruit students.
- Over 8,539 interview slots were available last year for students.
