Your residence hall at college is way more than just a place to crash. It’s where you’ll make great new friends and forge some of your most memorable Michigan Tech experiences.
So it’s important that you get to know your housing options at Michigan Tech. Our three residence halls—Douglass Houghton Hall, McNair Hall, and Wadsworth Hall—aren’t just clones of one another. Each has its own style, its own personality, and its own individual houses within the hall geared towards students with shared interests.
Douglass Houghton Hall
Douglass Houghton Hall—also known as DHH—is the oldest residence hall at Michigan Tech, houses 350 people, has three floors, and features a newly renovated dining room.

Wadsworth Hall also is home to Michigan Tech’s First Year Experience (FYE) learning community, a coveted offering designed to enhance students’ first year through loads of house activities.
